Company system settings
The named company values documents and emails read — name, ABN, contact details, and the invoice and credit-note prefixes.
Settings → Company System Settings (/operations/settings/system). A table of named values. Each row has a Name, a Key, a Value and an optional Description.
The application looks a value up by its key, so the key is what matters. Once a row exists its key cannot be changed — the pencil edits only the name, value and description.
Keys that are read today
Section titled “Keys that are read today”| Key | Used for |
|---|---|
company_name, abn, address, mobile, email_operations | The company block on invoice and credit-note PDFs, statements and emails. |
invoices | The prefix on new invoice numbers (<prefix>-000123). |
credit_notes | The prefix on new credit-note numbers. |
currency, currency_symbol | Money formatting on credit-note PDFs. |
Changing a prefix affects new numbers only. Existing invoices keep the number they were issued with.
Adding and removing
Section titled “Adding and removing”Add Setting creates a row. The trash icon deletes one.
Deleting a key the system reads does not break anything outright — the code falls back to a built-in default — but the document will quietly change. Edit the value instead.
Connote, manifest and quote numbers are not set here. They come from Number Series.
